Thank you! I was amazed that my order was processed so quickly and am very pleased with the free motion quilting foot. I bought it for my Janome machine but found it also fits an old Brother machine so am able to keep that specifically for free motion work. It has been very difficult to find a big open toe foot and was previously using a plastic ring foot which wasn't satisfactory. I have done a small practise piece and find the foot great to work with, so much easier to see where you are going. Can't wait to finish piecing my next quilt and be able to embellish it with free motion quilting.

The embroidery software is sooooooo expensive that it’s always a bit of a “gulp” thinking about buying an upgrade. This one is 110% worth it. If you ever use your embroidery machine for quilting, this upgrade is a game changer. It automatically fills in shapes or backgrounds with stippling or a range of patterns or echo lines. Everything is adjustable. First one I tried was sensational. You can also create your own fill patterns. I know this upgrade does other stuff too, for me that single improvement was worth every trembling penny

GUR website is easy to navigate and well organised, The search facility found the fabric I required and the process of ordering and paying was also very easy to understand. My fabric arrived on time and well packed. I will be using GUR again. Couldn't be faulted from start to finish.

I contacted GUR as the Janome overlocker I noticed was priced at £699 when I looked at the site in my lunchtime, but by the time I arrived at home the price increased to £765.
A very pleasant gentleman named Steve called me back and explained that the overlockers priced at £699 had been sold, but he had spoken to the manager and told me that as I had seen the reduced price I could have a brand new machine in an unopened box and with the free thread pack for £765.

The machine priced at £699 had previously been used in a classroom.

I ordered the machine and it arrived the next day. It was a brand new machine and I used it on the day it arrived.
A great machine with AirThread I'd made a dress within 3 hours.

I received excellent service today from Palma. I was unsure which sewing machine I needed to take to classes with me and Palma really helped me to decide. Customer service was excellent; lack of a card through the door meant that I had no idea what had happened to my order. GUR tracked down the parcel and enabled me to arrange redelivery. My knitting bag is great and cat proof. It is well made with lining and taped seams.

Thank you for the easy to use website and super fast delivery. Yours is my ‘go to’ shop when I need anything for my machine and I highly recommend it.

I had difficulty finding the items I wanted to order and started an online chat. The person on the other end was very helpful and I was finally I able to complete my order. Unfortunately a few items were out of stock but I was informed straight away and given options. My order came within the time scale they quoted and everything was in the package. I would recommend revising the website when it comes to ordering threads. When I place an order for threads I use the colour number not the colour (different people use different names for the colours).
On the whole the service is very good and of course I would order again.

Very useful ruler. I have a true cut rotary cutter so compliments the ruler and works well. Rulers are very expensive so this one was very keenly priced and I have used this much more than I thought. Well packed and delivered quickly, very pleased with the purchase.

Unfortunately I had to return my broken jaguar sewing machine but was able to upgrade to the DQS 405 . The staff were very helpful as I returned the machine personally. The machine continues to sew beautifully and I am very pleased with my purchase.

What fantastic service from both GUR Sewing and brother sewing machines. I placed my order when it was at full price and the customer service was excellent. I then had a phone call to say that if I waited 24-48hrs before dispatch there may be a small discount from brother as they had information coming in shortly. This was above and beyond what anyone would normally expect. I still had my brand new sewing machine delivered within 4 days and had a discount and a free quilting table from them.
