I visited the store in Birmingham last week to purchase a machine and I cannot say a bad word about them! The service was excellent, I was shown how to use the machine and then had a chance to try it myself. I was particularly impressed as the man who demonstrated the machine informed me he isn't the person who normally does this and knows little about sewing, he could have fooled me. He gave really great instructions and was very patient! I have already recommended GUR to my friends and am looking forward to y next visit. The service is great, the prices are great! Pleased with quick delivery, cotton holder is very good but ordered curved embroidery scissors and have been sent manicure scissors so not happy as particularly wanted fine cutting points, manicure scissors dont cut to the points, never mind, lesson learned.

Great service,i have had 3 different machines off G.U.R now,and everytime they have been helpfull, friendly and,very knowledgeable.

After having ordered two sewing machines by mistake G.U.R promptly refunded the difference. My machine arrived very quickly yesterday (as I live in Spain) and I am thrilled with it.
