I ordered my Janome sewing machine at lunchtime on 17th January and it was with me less than 24 hours later. The customer service was excellent when I rang with a couple of queries. Will definitely recommend to others.

When I was asked to make a phone call before my order was processed I cynically assumed it was to tell me some bad news, this bit missing or that bit doubled in price! To my amazement and delight it was to ascertain I had the best model for the work I had to do. By the end of my conversation with Billy I had ordered an upgrade model but cancelled six of the attachments I had previously ordered, as they came as part of the new package.The final surprise was I paid no more for the new order. I found this truly amazing. How often do you get such service without there being anything in it for the server? I don't recall ever having such fantastic service from a company before. I will certainly be recommending G.U.R. to every interested party and thank you so much for using your expertise for my benefit entirely.It was very much appreciated.

FANTASTIC COMPANY. Telephoned to check if the Polti Forever Vaporella was in stock, told that it was and if I placed my order before 2.00pm it would go that day. I ordered a brother sewing machine that GRU had on special offer for a birthday present. I just missed the last one they had in stock but got a phone call telling me so and another phone call to tell me that they had them back in stock and were shipping one to me. 10-pack of Janome plastic bobbins arrived speedily. £4 delivery cost seems excessive for such a lightweight package. I will be surprised if this is posted on the website. GUR: States on the website orders under £30 you will be charged £4 postage, no costs are hidden, when an item is put in the basket the website states how much more you need to spen before postage becomes free....

I felt that my purchase was confirmed and it was processed within a few days, but I still have no information about how long it will take to get here -- days, weeks?? When I purchase things on-line in the US, they let you track your package to see where it is every day, so if you needed to be home when it is dropped off, you could actually plan for that. Otherwise, I'm so happy to receive my new foot. I'll let you guys know how I did with it. GUR: sorry on small items through normall post by Royal Mail we have no tracking system
