I am so far delighted with my machine. Have only used it once to famiiarise myself with it and everything seems good. The instructions looked daunting but I followed my instinct and the bobbin winding/threading etc was easy. The dvd is excellent and a great help. Also, the carry bag is a lovely quality, the packing was excellent and all delivered in 3 days!

This is the second machine I have purchased from GUR. It was bought on the advice of the 'salesman'; the machine is great and much cheaper than any of the ones I had considered from the on line data. Does everything I want with no fuss. Everything I wanted from a computerised machine with none of the unneeded extras. I recommend the firm and the machine.

The service I have received is excellent. I had to change the delivery date. Done with no trouble. I have not tried it get, going to have a look at the video then play with it.Looks good and looking forward to making lots of things.

Great company to deal with, have bought a Husqvarna Viking sewing machine from them, then ordered a walking foot for the machine which was delivered very quickly. Highly recommend.

Great service - really speedy. A quick phonecall to check the item was in stock. Once confirmed, my order was taken over the phone and all was marvelous. The table itself makes a great difference when sewing large items.
It would have been helpful if there had been a diagram of how the feet went together as I managed to "build" them upside down first, but hey-ho!

The website was user friendly. Customer service was excellent , I contacted customer service twice regarding delivery and each time found the service very good, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The overal experience of shopping with GUR is worthy of 5 stars, I'm unable to comment as yet on the product but form what I've experienced so far the Brother machine is amazing. Delivery of the product was excellent and the item was well packed.
 

Loving my Janome 525S! Did some extensive research before deciding on the machine as I really wanted something that was user friendly for a beginner but would also meet my needs as I improved. GUR were amazing ordered on pm 20 May and got next morning! Instant gratification!

Brilliant machine. Originally ordered a Jaguar 097 as it appeared to be a bit more solid than the basic Janome overlocker, but it had to be returned (as did its replacement) due to bowed, bent and ill fitting panels - utterly appalling construction. Fortunately GUR were brilliant throughout, and they steered me towards this model. This machine is worlds apart - beautifully constructed from well machined parts and works perfectly, an absolute joy, and it's fast! An easy recommendation - a little more money, a lot more product. Loving the sewing platform extension accessory as well - I'd highly recommend it to anyone purchasing this model.

I cannot fault the speed of service, price or quality of the items provided by this company. I would certainly be happy to recommend them to others and more than happy to use them again myself.

Was within the rules stated, but only just. No feedback on progress of the order. Order arrived at the last possible moment, and too late for the event I bought it for so I could not use it. Also too expensive, by about 25%. Not a good choice overall, and I won't be using this supplier again

Regarding the time frame of the delivery, please bare in mind that once it leaves our building it is purely in the hands of Royal Mail.

Also, please note that you placed the order on a Saturday and as stated on our site, we close on weekends. Your order was then dispatched efficiently on the following Monday.

I am absolutely delighted with my new machine and the pre- and post support I have received from GUR. I had no problems placing my order and the machine arrived very quickly. Everyone at GUR is so friendly and patient and they make you feel valued as a customer.

I was looking for another machine and wasn't sure whether to invest so much but after speaking with GUR, I made the decision to go for it. The 8900QCP is a superb, quality machine and after sewing for some 48 years, I did not realise what a startling difference a machine could make. The stitching and tension are superb, the automatic thread cutter is so very handy and the feeder makes sewing an absolute breeze and joy. There are so many wonderful features on this machine, I feel as if I have discovered a whole new craft! I am over the moon.

I would highly recommend both GUR and the Janome Memory Craft Horzion 8900QCP without any hesitation whatsoever. Thank you GUR! :-)

Very well pleased with what I bought, a Toyota Super Jeans machine to do all my heavier jobs and go through all those layers that other machines wont.

Super next day delivery, I could follow it delivering to other houses and eventually mine. A good reduced price as well, cant fault the firm.

I was well pleased and would certainly use Gur Sewing machines again if I needed another machine.

Unfortunately one of the items I ordered, an extension table for my sewing machine was out of stock.I was given the opportunity to receive the other smaller items and to wait for the table or to cancel the order. I chose to wait. I am happy to wait until said item is in stock as I have dealt with this firm before by email, post and telephone and have found the staff very helpful and the goods of good quality.
 

Excellent advice and next day timed delivery at a good price, who could ask for more? This is the third machine my family have purchased from GUR and we havealways been very happy with their customer service, quality and delivery.

Smooth and easy process. I had a few questions so I 'phoned and spoke to a 'salesperson'. He was very helpful, he answered all my questions openly and honestly. The delivery was exactly as I was informed it would be and I was able to track my purchase right up to delivery to my door. Very impressed with the very good service. Thank you.

As usual, superfast delivery service. I had used an overlocker many years ago so fairly familier with the threading process,and machine was ready loaded with thread spools so was not too difficult to master this process.
A few sessions with the manual and a serger book an I was ready to start in earnest. The only thing I had a problem with was the needle threader, but still had my old one, a large looper, so that was ok. The waste catcher is a bit of a fiddle, the one supplied broke, but a replacement arrived next morning, free of charge,and works fine.
overall a good machine, easy to understand manual, and good to look at.
I tend to use only 3 thread set up, and havn't tried the 2 thread yet.
i can thouroughly recommend both the machine and GUR if you are thinking of getting an overlocker.

I have been looking for a new over-locker for some time and with my daughter getting married and wanting me to make her wedding dress, it pushed me into getting one. The offer to be able to spread the cost has been very helpful too. I am very pleased with it. It is easy to use and is colour coded for when you need to re-thread it. I have been busy making lots of clothes and craft items. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed making things with material.

After much research and advice I decided to purchase a PFAFF Coverlock 3.0. Simple ordering process and delivery on the day requested. Superb and versatile machine. Easy to use and thread. Can't fault the service from GUR - so much so I subsequently ordered a PFAFF Performance 5.0. Highly recommended.

So far so good, absolutely enjoying sewing using my Brother overlocker, only had it 2 weeks and already made 3 sun dresses for my granddaughter and made a dress and blouse for myself, it's made my sewing look so professional. I still have a lot to learn about it, I found threaded the cottons easy now I've done it a couple of times. Brilliant. And now I wouldn't be with out it ..

I received my sewing machine the next day and could not wait till I started my sewing classes,I've not touch a sewing machine since I was at school.
I've even put a zip into one off my pieces and have done a bag,

Just which there put a pice cog paper to tell what feet for machine does what, going back to a sewing machine I didnot know were to start but this machine for me is great quiet, and good price. Either for beginners or advances machines.

I left a review for the foot, not realising it was supposed to be a trestimonial of the company.

The salesperson was very helpful and directed me to a page dedicated to attachments for my particular machine. This was very useful, and something I have not seen before. He was able to help with one query, but not really with another.

Delivery was very fast. I was pleased with the service overall.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet but looks good quality. However, the 2mm does not have the facility for engaging the IDT system on my machine.
I will be sewing very fine sik and hoped the IDT would make it easier.
The salesperson was able to find out about the 2mm foot when I asked, but could not tell me if the IDT would make a difference. In view of this I bought the 3mm foot as well, (which can be used with IDT), so this was an expensive venture.

First new machine in 28 years so was always going to be a steep learning curve but I have been really impressed with this!
Service was excellent and the delivery was great - I was given an hour delivery slot and it arrived about 4 minutes after the start time.
Will certainly be using GUR again.
